Truffles the Pig — house mascot. Nose to the ground, always hunting the je ne sais quoi. Millions of songs in the dirt; he only surfaces with the rare ones.
Nom de Guerre Music is a ruthless love letter to the kind of music that outlives its makers, trends, and algorithms; it's a home for songs that choose immortality over popularity, good over evil, and love because we can.
We launch singer-songwriters and new acts, relaunch established ones, and cut a path through the maze of the music jungle — an on-ramp to the highway of music, with airplay on Spotify, Apple Music, and everywhere that matters.
You have the songs but not the machinery. We take selected singer-songwriters and new artists from finished record to live on every platform — distribution, playlist pitching, release strategy, and a real plan for the first 90 days.
Catalog sitting idle, audience gone quiet, or a new chapter that needs a new push. We put proven artists back on the highway — refreshed positioning, re-pitched catalog, new releases done right.
Millions of songs go up every month. We select a handful of artists worth your attention and put them in one place — so finding your next favorite doesn't require a machete.
Nom de Guerre is built around singer-songwriters — people who write what they sing. Production trends age; a written song doesn't.
Our test is simple: strip the record to a voice and one instrument. If it still stands, it belongs here. That's why the roster leads with writers, why publishing sits at the center of the house, and why every launch starts with the lyric — not the rollout.
Singer-songwriters first — people who write what they sing. New acts on their first launch, established acts on their next one. Every artist here was chosen; that's the point. Follow the roster and skip the maze.
The Founding Artist — first through the door, first to find out what breaks
Engagements are structured to the artist — label deals for selected acts, or fee-based launch services for independents who keep their masters.
No. 1
New-act launch
The full on-ramp for first-time releases, built song-first: the writing and repertoire before the rollout, then identity and positioning, catalog setup, artwork and metadata, release timeline, and distribution to every major platform — with a concrete plan for the first 90 days after release day.
No. 2
Established-act relaunch
For proven artists whose catalog or career needs a second push: catalog audit and re-pitching, refreshed positioning, re-release and remaster strategy, and new-material rollout that reconnects an existing audience and builds a new one.
No. 3
Distribution & airplay
Delivery to Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, YouTube Music, Tidal, Deezer, Pandora, and iHeartRadio. DSP editorial pitching, playlist strategy, pre-save campaigns, and post-release analytics with transparent reporting.
No. 4
Publishing administration
The center of a writers' house. Registration, collection, and administration of songwriter royalties worldwide — PRO registration, mechanical licensing, and neighboring rights — with clean, auditable statements. If you wrote it, you get paid for it.
No. 5
Sync licensing
Placement of the catalog in film, television, advertising, and games. One-stop clearances available on select titles where we control both master and publishing.
No. 6
Rights & royalty advisory
Deal review, royalty audits, catalog valuation, and rights cleanup for artists and estates. Built on real financial-analysis discipline, not guesswork.
Launches, relaunches, signings, placements, and the occasional editorial from the label.
Velvet Ultimatum's debut lands three editorial playlist adds in week one
Shine (NDG–004) opened stronger than projected, with editorial support across alt-pop and new-music playlists and early sync interest on the title track. The launch playbook worked.
Nom de Guerre selects Austin duo Mother Tongue
The harmony-forward folk duo joins the roster ahead of a late-2026 debut. First single First Light (NDG–001) is now available for pre-save on all platforms.
"Hold Me Now" is out now — the founding release
B Brian's Hold Me Now (NDG–003) is live on Spotify, Apple Music, and every major platform — the first artist release under the Nom de Guerre banner, and the record every part of the on-ramp was tested on before any other artist's work went near it. Someone had to go first. The founding artist volunteered.
Introducing Nom de Guerre Music
Why we built an on-ramp instead of another label — and why selection, not volume, is the answer to the maze of the music jungle.
Contact
Three doors, clearly marked
Direct lines for the things people call a label about. Demos and writer submissions go through the Submit page — they are not reviewed by email.
New act or established, every submission is heard by a person, not a filter. We're a writers' house — the song matters more than the production. Send streaming links only, no attachments, and tell us the one thing to know before we press play.

B Brian
Founding artist — singer-songwriter — Frisco, Texas
Boston-born, Texas-rooted. A decade on stage, a self-imposed exile from it, and a return on his own terms — under the banner he helped raise.

Bio
B Brian began in Boston with an instinct for storytelling and sonic exploration, building songs on syncopated harmonies and unconventional modalities — less tracks than landscapes. As the force behind The Response, he earned a reputation as a lyricist of unusual depth and a deliberate provocateur of sound.
After more than a decade of live performances — and the accolades and awards that came with them — he walked away from the stage entirely, trading visibility for craft in a period of self-imposed exile spent writing. He resurfaced in 2024 with God & Monsters, an unflinching study of vulnerability and defiance released quietly and received loudly, and followed it in 2025 with Love Supposed, an album about connection, longing, and the fragile architecture of human relationships.
Now grounded in Frisco, Texas — sanctuary and muse — B Brian records as the founding voice of Nom de Guerre Music, where every playbook the label runs was tested on his releases first. Founding artist; first through the door; still standing.

Press
Stereo Stickman's review of God & Monsters traced how the record keeps resolving its darkest verses back to a single circling refrain — “God and Monsters are real.” — reading the album's heroes and horrors as no less real than the days we live through.

Story angles
The exile and the return — a decade of acclaimed live work, a total withdrawal from the stage, and a re-emergence as a recording artist with two albums in two years.
The founding artist — the first artist through Nom de Guerre Music's on-ramp: every distribution, pitching, and release-strategy playbook the label runs was tested on his records before any other artist's.
The name — an elusive figure recording under a nom de guerre, on a label built around the idea.
